The mobile haz-mat containment capabilities of Safe-T-Dome™ equip fire, haz-mat & homeland defense first responders with safe options for containing and abating hazardous materials with less time in bulky class A suits.
Haz-Mat Isolation & Control

The cabinet is easily transported and deployed, weighing less than many fire extinguishers. While it won't solve the problem of large leaking rail cars or other dispersed spills, it reduces risk and cost drastically when used on a small threat before it has a chance to spread. A dead or sick bird possibly carrying Avian Influenza, a leaking reagent bottle or a suspected bio-terror device can be isolated and safely examined without handling or dispersing them. In early-action situations like these, use of the Safe-T-Dome™ can contain in minutes what would require many man hours if dealt with by more traditional means. |

Vacuum and Splash-guard models with spill-control bases can be equipped for use in mobile response vans and field bases just as they are used in military, haz-mat and environmental laboratories. While they are often used in stationary labs, their small footprint, light weight and rugged construction makes them the natural choice for heavy-duty lab use in mobile applications. They are available with conventional AC power or 12 DV power options.
Hazardous Response overkill is expensive, and comes with risks far greater than the "Haz-Mat Fire Extinguisher" glovebox. Haz-mat canisters, safety cabinets, class A suits and MOPP gear are viable means of protection, but Safe-T-Dome™ mobile glove boxes offer isolation & containment benefits at the source beyond these old technologies. With in-use worker protection beyond most class III biological safety cabinets, Safe-T-Dome™ brings laboratory safety and efficiency to the release site. This fail-safe vacuum glovebox supports early containment that allows you to avoid the fatigue, danger and additional dispersion that is inevitable when too much of the response requires action in Class A Haz-Mat or MOPP gear. With a weight and size less than many fire extinguishers, and easy decontamination for re-use, the choice is simple. Unless the hazardous release has already spread, use Safe-T-Dome™, the Haz-Mat Fire Extinguisher; it just makes more sense.
