Safe-T-Dome™ cabinets with vacuum containment provide fail-safe protection to nearly eliminate risk of operator exposure or hazard release.  The proprietary air flow and pressure control system puts static vacuum operation in full control of the glovebox user, and it delivers complete user monitoring capability.  While fume hoods, class II biological safety cabinets (bsc) and similar air flow protection provide a very slight vacuum it is far less than the static vacuum of a Safe-T-Dome™ cabinet and it is less protective.  A class II biosafety cabinet can fail to contain hazards at least 3 ways that are not possible with proper use of Safe-T-Dome™ cabinets with static vacuum containment.
